Thanks to everyone who braved the weather to join us this past Monday to discuss and sample Scottish and Irish beers. A special thanks to Brad Wyant who put together the presentation and selection of beers. To help keep improving the club and our meetings, please take a moment to fill out our survey and give us your feedback.
This is a friendly reminder that we will be having our regular monthly meeting this coming Monday, November 17th at 7pm at Boatyard Brewing Company. Member Brad Wyant will be giving a talk on Irish and Scottish ales, complete with club provided samples. If you have some of your own homebrewed examples, this would be a perfect opportunity to share them as we get into the finer details of what defines these styles.
We want to remind everyone that we are hosting at Learn to Homebrew event at Boatyard Brewing Company this Saturday, November 1st. We have adjusted our start time to 10am so that our all-grain brewers can get started and wrap up by a decent time.
Thanks to everyone who attended our meeting on Monday, especially David Curtis who gave a fantastic presentation on cask aged beers. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to him.
If you were there on Monday, we'd like to ask you to spend just a few minutes of your time and fill out our survey. This helps us keep making our meetings and the club in general better.
Our apologies for the very late notice but we've been informed that the folks at Gorilla Gourmet will not be able to make the meeting tonight. Please make other arrangements if you need something to eat. You can have pizza and other meals delivered to Boatyard Brewing Company.
This is a friendly reminder that we will be holding our normal monthly meeting this Monday, October 20th at 7pm at Boatyard Brewing Company. Member and Bell's General Store manager David Curtis will discuss how he uses a cask to age and serve his beer from the same vessel, also known ask "real ale".
