This coming Monday is our monthly meeting at Boatyard Brewery, 7pm. This month's meeting is our annual Holiday beer tasting and potluck. The theme for this year is East Coast vs West Coast beers. We will have beer samples from both coasts for you to compare and contrast. Also, please bring a dish to share as this is a potluck meeting.
Per our bylaws, we will do the official vote for officers for the 2017 calendar year at the December meeting as well.
We have only recieved a few entries for the 2016 KLOB KUP, our annual homebrew competition. Thus, we are extending the deadline till the December meeting on Dec. 19th. We will announce the winner at the January meeting. If you are still interested in entering, you now have more time! Just fill out these forms and bring in 2 x 12oz bottles per entry. Please rubber band the bottle forms to the bottles.
Our October meeting is this coming Monday, 7pm at Boatyard Brewery. This month's topic will be on the Chemistry of IBU's and presented by Andre Venter, Professor of Chemistry at WMU. Also, don't forget to wear your Halloween costumes to this meeting, we will have prizes for best costume. (Bonus points for beer themed costumes)
September Meeting: Join us Monday Sept. 19th, 7pm at Boatyard Brewery for our monthly meeting! This month is part of our Pro Series featuring Territorial Brewing. We will have guest speakers from Territorial Brewing Co give a talk on their experiences of opening a brewery and will share samples of their beer.

KLOB ROAST - Saturday, Aug. 20th, 11am-8pm @ Coldbrook Park
Mark your calendars for Saturday August 20th! (11am-8pm) It's time for KLOB Roast, our annual all-day cook-out & beerfest. KLOB supplies the food, you bring the beer and cheer! Cost is $25/person. This price covers entry into the park, a commemorative Roast pint glass, and all the food you can eat! The caterer this year will be Big Moe's! Menu: Roasted Pork, chicken and lots of sides. Tickets are available at the August KLOB meeting, at Tempo Vino Winery-260 E. Michigan ave.
Our monthly meeting is coming up soon! Monday, July 18th at 7pm. For a change of scenery, we're having our meeting at Brite Eyes Brewery this time. Brian Pierce, owner of Brite Eyes, will be giving a presentation on "Going Pro" and sharing his experiences about going from homebrewer to opening a brewery. There will also be tours of the facility. We will be back at Boatyard for the August meeting.
