September Meeting
Following up with Jason's presentation on Festbiers last month, Geoff will be going to the other end of the color spectrum of German lagers with Schwarzbiers. In addition to a discussion on the style, there will be a few samples from local breweries. The September meeting will be at Brewery Outré (567 E Ransom St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007) on September 16 at 7:00pm for our monthly meeting!

The weather for KLOB Roast was excellent, sunny but not hot. It was a fun time hanging out with fellow brewers, sharing beers while playing cornhole and kubb. If you were unable to attend, glasses will be available for purchase at the September meeting for $5 each.

October Meeting
Be sure to bring your palate for October as we'll be bringing in a sensory training kit from Siebel Institute for everyone to sharpen their senses on. Be sure to be at Brewery Outré (567 E Ransom St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007) on October 21 at 7:00pm if you want to learn what isovaleric acid in your beer might taste like!
