The Peanut Butter Beer competition at Presidential Brewery opens tomorrow! Stop in and vote for your favorite Peanut Butter Porter. One of the beers is from KLOB!
HOW IT WORKS:
- The three candidate beers are brewed in smaller batches and released for voting
- To vote, you purchase a flight of all 3 beers and receive a voting token
- After trying the entries, cast your vote in the corresponding ballot box!
- Electoral College members receive a different colored voting token, and their votes are weighted heavier - just like in a real election!
- Voting lasts for 10 days (or until the kegs blow - whichever comes first). After 10 days, any remaining beer becomes available for purchase in full pours
- The winning beer will be brewed on our big system, to be released in a full size batch during Kalamazoo Beer Week in January

November Meeting
Our November Meeting will also be hosted by Presidential Brewing. The topic will be Harvest Ales. Date is Nov. 18th, 7pm.

KLOB KUP
Our annual club competiton is a few months away! Submit your best beers, the competition will be tough! Entries are due at the December Meeting. The competition is open to all Klob memebers, and are allow up to three different entries. Beers can be any style in the 2015 BJCP Style Guildlines. Please submit two bottles of each entry for tasting. Please make sure to rubberband bottle ID forms to each beer, and fill out a Entry/Recipe form for each entry. Below are links for the forms. Winner is annouced at the January Meeting.
