Our September meeting is approaching fast! This month's meeting will take place at Wax Wings Brewing Co. on Sept. 16th, 7pm.  Location is 3480 Gull Rd.  Normally closed on Monday, they will be open that night just for our group.  They will also have their grill fired up for anyone that's hungry at the meeting. 

Rob, the owner of Wax Wings will give a talk about opening a brewery and his experiences in the beer industry.  Hope to see you there!

KLOB Roast- Sept. 21st, 12-6pm.  Markin Glen Park

KLOB Roast, our annual Club cook-out & beer fest! Bring your best brews to share with the club! Catering by Shawarma King this year. Join us Sept. 21st at Markin Glen Park in the Tyler Picnic Shelter. The price of the ticket covers your admission into the park, all the food you can eat, and a commemorative KLOB Roast pint glass. This event isn’t just for Klob members, You are welcome to invite friends and family to the Roast, just as long as they’re cool, and like beer. This is a BYOB event, so bring your best stuff to share, we'll have our tap systems there with both pin & ball lock connections. Purchase tickets here: KLOB ROAST

Bell's Homebrew Competition- Sept. 14th

Bell's annual homebrew Expo and Competition is this Saturday! This event is free to enter, you just need to sign up to get your wort. All the details can be found on their website here: Bell's Homebrew Competition.

October Meeting- Stranger Brews. Oct. 21st, 7pm

Our October meeting will take place at Brite Eyes Brewing Co, 1156 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo, 49001.  This month we will have our Stranger Brews beer contest. Same format as our Session Beer competition, bring several bottles of your brew for people to taste and vote for. Gift cards from Bell's General store for the top winners.  This time you must brew a beer with a unique or strange ingredient. It could be a unique fruit, spice, adjunct, etc... (i.e. Maple & Fig Porter) Just make sure it's palatable!
