Join us at Boatyard Brewing Co. on Nov. 19th, 7pm for our monthly meeting. The topic this month will be Barley Wine! Have you made any Barley wines? Or have any examples you would like to share? Bring 'em to the meeting! Additionally, per club bylaws, we will take nominations for the officer positions for 2019. We have one open position, secretary, if you are interested in joining the club leadership team, please let us know! We are always looking for new ideas. We will also start taking membership renewals for the 2019 Calendar year at this meeting.
December Meeting:
Don't forget our December Meeting will be our annual Holiday Pot Luck, featuring Stouts. Please bring a dish or something yummy to share! December is also the deadline for dropping off entries for the KLOB KUP, read on below for rules related to the KLOB KUP..

Call for Entries! KLOB KUP opens December 1st!
-Drop off entries to Alex at Tempo Vino Winery - 260 E. Michigan ave. Downtown Kalamazoo. From December 1st-17th.
-You can also drop off entries at our December Meeting on Monday, Dec. 17th, which is the DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES!!!
KLOB KUP: Our annual club homebrew compeition! This beer competition is open to KLOB members in good standing only. Each member is allowed up to three entries, and the beers can be any style in the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines. It is a BJCP sanctioned event, and is judged by a panel of BJCP beer judges. Brew your best stuff for this event, the competition is tough!
-To enter, you must fill out an Entry/Recipe form and use a rubber band to attach the Bottle ID Tags to two 12oz bottles. Do not tape or glue the labels to your bottles, you will be disqualified. Also, no other labels or identifying marks on the bottles, just plain crown cap and the bottle ID form. We do the judging blind, so we don’t know who’s beer is who’s.

Winner get bragging rights for the year and their name on the KLOB KUP trophy! Winner will be announced at the January meeting.
