Our monthly meeting is coming on Monday, June 18th, 7pm at Boatyard Brewery. This month we are having our club IPA Competition, which we will judge live and annouce the winner at the meeting! So bring your beer entries chilled and ready to go. We will also be signing up people who want tickets to the Great Taste of the Midwest as well. Read on below for all the info...

Great Taste of the Midwest

Tickets Once again we will be receiving an allotment of 25 tickets to the Great Taste of the Midwest Beer Festival in Madison, WI. The festival takes place Saturday, August 11th, 1-6pm at Olin Park in Madison. There will be approximately 1,400 beers this year! If you would like tickets to go to this event, you need to sign up at the June Meeting and pay for your ticket. Ticket price this year is $60.

KLOB IPA Competition

We're having a little club competition this summer for IPA's. Brew your best American IPA, Double IPA, or New England Style IPA, and enter to win our Summer IPA Competition! We will be judging them LIVE at the June Meeting! (June 18th) To enter, bring 4 x 12oz plain brown bottles to the June Meeting. IMPORTANT! Please bring your bottles chilled and ready to be judged. Please include Bottle ID Labels attached with rubber bands on your bottles, as well as an Entry/Recipe Form. One entry per person. Here are links for the forms: Entry/Recipe Form & Bottle ID Labels

This is not a formal sanctioned BJCP event, it's just for fun, but we will be judging them according to BJCP Style Guidelines for American IPA and Double IPA. BJCP does not have Guidelines for NE IPA yet, so we will be using Brewer's Association's Guidelines.
