This coming Monday is our monthly meeting at Boatyard Brewery, 7pm. This month's meeting we are featuring a special guest, Ryan Hamilton, Executive Director of the Michigan Barley Association, who will be providing a presentation on barley and malting. The program will provide a broad overview of the history and technology of malting with specific attention to barley and malt analysis, quality specifications, and the state of the industry in Michigan. Battle of the Brews

Come cheer on the KLOB team as we brew our beer for the Battle of the Brews at Brite Eyes Brewery on Saturday, Sept. 23rd, high noon. This brew competition is a head to head brew off between KLOB and Keepers of the Craft homebrew club.  Who ever's keg sells out the fastest wins the competition. The beer we create will go on tap at Brite Eyes on Friday, Oct. 13th.  Stop by that day and have a pint or two!
