Equipment Swap Meeting - June 20th, 7pm. Do you have some brewing equipment you're not using anymore? Are you in need of some carboys, bottles, chillers, etc...? Join us for our brewing equipment swap meeting! Bring all your brewing equipment and ingredients you want to trade or sell and find a buyer at our meeting. Spare kettle you want to unload? Bring it! Lots of empty beer bottles you want to get rid of? Bring 'em! If you're looking to buy, bring some cash or maybe trade for beer??? All equipment and ingredients are welcome: beer, wine, cider, mead, etc...
KLOB ROAST: Mark your calendars for Saturday August 20th! (11am-8pm) For those who have never been, KLOB Roast is our annual all-day cook-out & beerfest. KLOB supplies the food, you bring the beer and cheer! Cost is $25/person. This price covers entry into the park, a commemorative Roast pint glass, and all the food you can eat! This year's KLOB Roast will be at Coldbrook Park in the picnic shelter. Camping is available at Coldbrook if you wish to stay the night. This event is open to family and friends of members too! You can invite your wife, mistress, cousin, boyfriend, uncle, probation officer, car mechanic, etc... Just as long as they're cool and they like real beer. Speaking of beer, this a good opportunity to show off your brew skills! Bring your "A" game to the Roast. We'll have our jockey box set up, so you can hook up your corney kegs. You may bring bottles as well. Please bring any yard games you want to play. We've had volleyball, bocce, kube in the past. Disc golf and fishing are also available at Coldbrook Park. This is a rain or shine event - prep accordingly. We do have the picnic shelter rented for the entire day. GREAT TASTE OF THE MIDWEST: We still have a few tickets left for Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison, WI on Aug 13th. $60 each. This is one of the best beer festivals in the country! Inquire at the June meeting.
