Great Taste of the Midwest Tickets: Ticket Raffle @ the May Meeting. The Great Taste of the Midwest is one of the premier beer festivals in the United States. The Great Taste features over one hundred fifty of the Midwest’s finest craft brewers at beautiful Olin Park overlooking Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin. Event is Saturday, August 13th. http://greattaste.org/

The organizers of the GTMW graciously allow our club an allotment of 25 tickets to give to our members. The cost is $60/ticket. We usually have more members wanting tickets than we have tickets. To make it fair, we hold a raffle only if there are more than 25 people interested in going. If you would like to be entered in for a ticket, you must: 1) Be a member in good standing (paid for 2016). 2) Be present at the May Meeting. 3) Pay for your ticket at that time. If we have fewer than 25 people interested, additional tickets may be purchased by members. Tickets are mailed to KLOB in late June and will be available to pick up at the July Meeting.

KLOB ROAST 2016!!!!!!! Mark your calendars for Saturday August 20th! (11am-8pm) For those who have never been, KLOB Roast is our annual all day cook-out & beerfest. KLOB supplies the food, you bring the beer and cheer! Cost is $25/person. This price covers entry into the park, a commemorative Roast pint glass, and all the food you can eat!  This year's KLOB Roast will be at Coldbrook Park in the picnic shelter. Camping is available at Coldbrook if you wish to stay the night. This event is open to family and friends of members too! Invite your wife, mistress, cousin, boyfriend, uncle, probation officer, car mechanic, etc... Just as long as they're cool and they like real beer. Speaking of beer, this a good opportunity to show off your brew skillz! Bring your "A" game to the Roast. We'll have our jockey box set up, so you can hook up your corney kegs. Bottles are welcome too.

Bring any yard games you want to play. We've had volleyball, bocce, kube in the past.  Disc golf and fishing are also available at Coldbrook Park. This is a rain or shine event - prep accordingly. We do have the picnic shelter rented for the entire day. Tickets will be available at every KLOB meeting, or online at the Roast Website. No refunds on tickets.
