This coming Monday is our October/Halloween Meeting! Our topic for this month will be Smoked and Barrel aged beers. We will have some commercial examples of these beers for sampling during our meeting. So join us (same time, same place) at Boatyard Brewery, 7pm on Monday.

And now for something completely different....KLOB Halloween costume contest! Come dressed in your best Halloween costume for a chance to win prizes! We have some items donated by Briess Malt Co. (hint hint) that we will be giving away. If your costume is beer related, even better!

This is also a potluck meeting, please bring a dish to share.

Learn to Homebrew Day

Do you have a friend who wants to learn to homebrew? Bring them to Learn to Homebrew Day at Bell's on November 7th! There will be brewing demonstrations and the knowledgeable staff from Bell's General Store will be on hand as well to answers questions.  (Plus you can drink beer too) All-grain brewing will begin at 10am, extract will start at noon.
