Greetings Klobbers, just a friendly reminder that we will be having our SeptemBeer meeting this coming Monday, Sept. 21st, 7pm, at Boatyard Brewery. This month topic will be on Adjuncts, how and when to use them. We hope to see you there! Also, if you have any homebrew you would like to share, feel free to bring it to the meeting.

Bell's Homebrew Expo Bell's is having their annual Home Brew Expo on Sept. 19th! Bell's gives away 5 gallons of wort to homebrewers to be used in their homebrew competition. You must get there early to sign up to get wort, so plan ahead. Let's get a huge KLOB turnout for this event!

October Halloween Meeting: Our October/Halloween Meeting will be on Oct. 19th.  Don't forget your costume! We will have prizes for best costume (bonus points for beer related costumes) It will also be a potluck meeting, so please bring a dish to share. The meeting presentation will be on Barrel Aged and Smoked beers.  If you have any examples of these, please bring them. 

November Meeting: Bring your harvest beers! If you grown your own hops, bring a beer made with this years crop. We'll have a friendly little harvest beer competition.  Winner gets a prize! (probably hops) 

KLOB KUP: Our annual club beer competion, The KLOB KUP, is a few months away, but it's never to early to start planning!  We will start taking entries at the November meeting. Judging will be held beginning of December  and the winner will be announced at the December meeting. This beer competition is open to members in good standing only. It is a BJCP sanctioned event, and is judged by a panel of BJCP beer judges. We will have more info at the next meeting on how to enter. Brew your best stuff for this event, the competion is tough!
