December Meeting Follow Up
We would like to thank everyone that came out last night to celebrate another successful year of KLOB. With 170 paid members, this has been our biggest year in our 20 year history. We're very excited what the future holds and hope you will continue to make the club strong and exciting.
To that end, we have prepared a short survey covering the December meeting and, more importantly, our perspective meeting location for 2014. It's anonymous and should take you no more than 5 minutes to complete but let's us know what are members want and think.

We need volunteers to present each of these topics, starting off with January's meeting on lagering. If you are interested, please let us know. You don't need to be an expert to present and it can actually be one of the best ways to learn about a subject.
National Homebrew Conference 2014
As we mentioned last night, we are 6 months out from the NHC in June. The AHA has not announced an official date when registration will open but we will keep you posted the moment we hear. In the meantime, we need everyone BREWING BEER! We have a goal of bringing 30 five gallon kegs to the event in order to service both a club night booth as well as session at the Social Well. And we don't want just any beer, we want your BEST beer. So keep fine tuning those recipes and get ready because we want to showcase Kalamazoo and southwest Michigan as the finest homebrew from across the country!
Kalamazoo Kup
Another big congratulations to Cullen Parish on his winning Belgian Dubbel! We had 47 entries and we were very impressed with the variety and quality. We look forward to another fantastic competition next year.
KLOB Work Shirts
You might have seen several of the officers and volunteers last night modeling our brand new KLOB work shirts. They are embroidered Dicikies shirts and they are available for $35. Taster Glasses
We sold out of our first run of the official 5 oz. KLOB taster glass night. If you missed your chance to pick up one, we will be doing another run and hope to have them available at the January meeting.
