As we enter that wonderful winter holiday season full of cheer and celebration with friends and family, we have our own way of marking the occasion with our annual December Holiday Meeting! As some of you heard at our November meeting, we will be having a change location over to Boatyard Brewing Company. The meeting date and time will be the same: December 16th and 7pm.
This year's holiday meeting will feature numerous hand-selected Christmas ales and winter warmers from around the country and around the world. We will also be having samples from our entries in the IPA Experiment which we launched at the November Learn to Homebrew event. If that's not enough, you're also welcome to bring any other homebrew that you been saving for a special occasion. And to make all this sampling even better, we will be selling our new official KLOB 5 oz. tasting glass!
As we encourage at all of our previous holiday meetings, all guests can bring in a dish or snack to share with the group. The club will be proving only limited foods so we ask for help out to keep something in everyone's bellies as they sample all these fantastic beers.
We will also have some club business to attend to at this month's meeting. We have officers to elect and we will also be announcing the winners of the inaugural Kalamazoo Kup competition. If you signed up for your 2014 membership, we will have your new membership cards available. And if you haven't registered yet, you'll have your chance as well.
Lastly, we want to make sure everyone is able to celebrate safely. Please make sure plans for either a designated driver or taxi cab to get your home. We look forward to see you all on the 16th!
