My apologies for the frequent emails but there have been new developments we need to share with all of you.

As I announced yesterday, Kalamazoo has made the finals for the Beer City USA competition. There was a short-notice meeting held by the people at Discover Kalamazoo today and members Alex Mantakounis and Beau Preston were there to represent KLOB and all the local homebrewers. With voting beginning this coming Monday, the city wants to do as much as possible to make everyone aware and show off how much beer is a big part of our culture. To kick off that campaign is...our Big Brew event!

WE NEED AS MANY PEOPLE TO ATTEND TOMORROW'S EVENT AT BELL'S GENERAL STORE AS POSSIBLE.

There will be photographers trying to capture the moment and a well attended, exciting event will really drive home the point that Kalamazoo is truly Beer City USA. We have 8 planned brews that will be staggered throughout the day all doing different styles and techniques for brewing beer. Invite your friends, family and co-workers to join us. The festivities will begin at 10am and continue into the late afternoon. Stop by even for a few minutes if you're busy.
