National Homebrew Conference 2013
This year's NHC is being held from June 27-29 in Philadelphia. You can see all the information here:
This is also exciting given that next year's event will be held in Grand Rapids. If you've never attended an NHC, now is the best time to check it out before it lands in our backyard.
Tickets go on sale February 5th and they go quickly. Several members of both KLOB and Bell's General Store, as well as numerous other Michigan clubs are planning on making the trip. If you will be attending and would like to help represent KLOB, please get in touch with the officers.
We're also planning to brew several special batches of beer to take to the event to share during the Club Night event. We're looking for volunteers to help plan recipes and brew. Let us know if you'd be interested in helping.
Presentation Volunteers
With our calendar set for 2013, we now need to members to step up and assist with our planned presentations. First up is our February style presentation on stouts. If you know this style well or want to learn more about it, helping give a presentation is the best way to grow and share that knowledge.

Club Bus Trip
We our currently in the planning stages of a club bus trip that will visit several regional breweries. Our tentative date is Saturday, April 6th so mark your calendars. If you would like to help our events committee plan the trip, contact president Chris Elston.
