Meeting Etiquette
KLOB decided to make a list to remind everyone about brewclub meeting etiquette (especially since we are meeting in a wonderful building that doesnâ..t belong to any of us and that we donâ..t even pay for).
Here is what we came up with:
- Meetings are only open to persons 21 of age or older. If you look young, please be prepared to show your ID.
- Bring 1 to 3 homebrews (and/or tasty commercial beers) to the meeting
- Bring some yummy munchies to cleanse the palate and fill the tummy in addition to beer.
- Bring an appropriately-sized tasting glass to the meeting. This is important -- many people forget this!
- Come prepared to give and receive constructive criticism.
- While at the meetings, PLEASE give respect to whoever has the floor (If there are five side conversations going on when someone is trying to talk, no one will want to give informational speeches or input ideas to the club.)
- Drink responsibly before, during and after the meetings.
- Be aware that we have been given this place to meet. Donâ..t abuse it. Make sure to pick up all of your mess before you leave and be careful while at the meetings (Dickâ..s place has plenty of stuff that can break or be spilled on.)
Again, pick up your stuff --nobody wants your empty bottles - Donâ..t drive while intoxicated.
- Lastly, have fun!
