We are excited to announce the details on this year's annual holiday meeting. We will be holding the meeting on our normal day (3rd Monday of the month, Dec. 17th) and time (7pm) but we will be meeting a special location: the Park Trades Center on Kalamazoo Ave.

We currently have a ground-floor gallery reserved and will send out more details as we get closer to the event.

Every year we try to have a special theme for this meeting and we wanted to do something unique that we haven't tried before. With so many great craft beers being made in the United States, we thought it would be fun to pit two influential regions against each other to determine what area makes the best beers. We present...EAST VS. WEST. We will be bringing numerous samples of the highest rated beers and breweries and will let everyone vote for their favorites. Regardless of the outcome, we will all be winners.

But the festivities don't stop there. We encourage everyone to take the opportunity to bring in some of their finest homebrew to share. Have a double stout aging in your basement? Perhaps some funky sour ale? Many just a normal pale ale? Bring them all! And with all this beer, we'll want to keep our stomachs full so we invite everyone to bring snacks and potluck dishes to pass.

Of course, we have other club business to attend to, including officer elections and membership dues for 2013. If you signed up at the November meeting, we will have your 2013 card ready.
